A Journey of a Thousand Miles

After studying abroad in South Africa my senior year of undergrad (blog: talesofthecape.blogspot.com), I developed an affinity for traveling. I have since lived in China & in Qatar, which are the main topics of this blog. I have also taken short trips all around the world to include: Brazil, England, Paris, Japan, Mexico, and Iceland with many more to come. Lesson Planning Never Ceases..

ALL MY LIFE I HAD TO LESSON PLAN.

During the week, I feel like I am always lesson planning. Whether it be for my 1st graders, my 7th graders, or my 8th graders, the lesson planning does not stop. I never knew how much work went into preparing to teach a lesson. I have a newly found respect for all the educators of the world, and I'm upset that I took being a student for granted all those years.
